This is just quick post from a foodie mommy.
My husband is popcorn buff. I loves it. So like the old days when Christmas tree were decorated with whatever you had laying around, I broke into my husband stash of popcorn and made a garland for our Christmas tree. :)
If you want to see how we got our tree and see it entirely decorated here's my youtube vlog about it. :)

Also chekc out my other blog for the post about our "mighty" tree hunt. Baby girl really took the lead there. :)

Peanut Butter balls: A fast recipe
Half a bag of powdered sugar or less sometimes
18z jar of peanut butter. ( I use classic creamy.)
Half a stick of butter (Room temperature)
And almond bark or white chocolate
This recipe is sort of play by ear recipe. It depends on how much you want to make. If I mix all of this, this makes me about 50 small walnut size balls. Which considering is quite a lot if you need to make a lot of cookies fast.
First throw the first three ingredients in bowl and mix until it crumbly. You should be able to grab and smal handful and mold it into small ball sizes. It it too creamy add more sugar. If its too dry all a little more butter.
:)
It should look like this
Then melt the white chocolate or almond bark and dip your peanut butter mounds in. :)
You can also use Dark chocolate as well. I highly recommend Ghirardelli, but Hershey Special dark works well too. :)
And presto. Your batch should look something like this....
Um...uh...well...it should have looked like white balls, but if you are anything like me you eat them all before you actually get a picture of them finished!
Enjoy the recipe. It works great for last minute cookies you need for Christmas cookie exchange or desert to bring to a party. Or just to make because you need Christmas cookies!
